Three weeks pass quickly and it's already time for another Design Room ONE release. In the version that is released today there are a few improvements I would like to highlight.
The OSLC popup that appears when resting the cursor on a link to a Design Room ONE diagram can now show the diagram graphics. Toggle between showing diagram properties and graphics by clicking the Show More / Show Less link in the bottom left corner of the popup.
The Design Room ONE web application now allows you to navigate between diagrams by double-clicking on diagram symbols. This feature works the same as in RSAD. Double-click on a symbol to open the first diagram that appears as a child of the corresponding model element. For example, this feature greatly helps when navigating around in hierarchical state chart diagrams. Just double-click on a composite state to open its nested state chart diagram.
The Design Room ONE integration plugin for RSAD was also improved in this release. Now the Requirement Management Explorer shows local Design Room ONE configurations, corresponding to for example branches in Git or ClearCase.
Also, when you set a global configuration as active, a dialog appears to remind you that you then also should switch version of the workspace model to be consistent with the corresponding local configuration.
Watch this 3-minute video to learn more about the new features.
The next release of Design Room ONE is expected around May 7.
