A new version of RSARTE is now available for download. Here are some noteworthy enhancements in this release:
After thorough testing and performance measurements we are happy to announce that the latest version of Eclipse (4.7.3, a.k.a. Oxygen 3) now is recommended to be used with RSARTE. This new version of Eclipse contains many bug fixes, in particular in CDT.
You can now navigate from a change in the Compare/Merge editor to the diagram where the changed model element is shown. Previously it was necessary to first navigate to the Project Explorer and from there further on to the diagram. However, now we have added a command for directly navigating to the diagram. This is especially useful if the model element happens to be filtered out from the Project Explorer.
We have continued to improve the Model Debugger in this release. Now you can attach to a running application without suspending it. Also, the TC is no longer built in this case (since it is not necessary) and this makes the procedure of attaching the Model Debugger to a running application faster.
Our experimental support for the new .tcjs file format for transformation configurations is now getting closer to finalization. In this release we have implemented a new virtual folder in the Project Explorer. It is similar to the Transformation Configurations virtual folder for TCs with the old file format, but in addition to showing prerequisite TCs it also shows parent TCs. This folder is hence a convenient way of navigating to all dependent TCs without having to open the TC editor.
Last but not least, I would like to mention a new fixup that was implemented in our Model Fixup utility. This fixup can detect and fix problems related to broken dependencies. Read more about the Model Fixup plugin and download it from this page.
