Today we release a new version of RSARTE 10.2. In this blog post I will share with you some of the improvements done in this release.
The built-in Help now contains extended documentation. Articles from the DeveloperWorks wiki, and also PDF files, are now included in the RSARTE installation. You can find this documentation in the RSARTE User's Guide.
A new command allows you to compare the modified version of an in-memory model with the version that is stored in local files. You can use this command to better understand how a model has been changed before saving it to the file system.
Protocols can now be stored in fragment files, and such fragment files can be absorbed into the file of the container element in case you no longer want to keep a protocol in a separate file. Hence, protocols now work in the same way as classes, capsules, packages etc. with regards to fragmentation.
These were a few of the highlights in the new release. For more information about the release see this page. The RSARTE development team will now start on a 6 week summer sprint, which means that the next version is expected to be ready around August 21. Until then, have a nice summer and enjoy RSARTE 10.2 2018.27!
